Location: Long Beach Peninsula, Washington State – a beautiful place to live with diverse natural attractions in a quaint rural setting. We are situated approximately 30 minutes from Astoria, Oregon, 2 hours from Portland, Oregon, and 3.5 hours from Seattle, Washington.

Full Time Compounding Pharmacist (Will Train in Compounding)

Position Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Hourly Wage: $70 an hour

Description

This will be a position serves our closed-door non-sterile compounding pharmacy. No experience compounding? No problem, we will train you! Our compounding operation is growing rapidly and we are looking for a pharmacist to grow with it.

The pharmacist ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. They comply with HIPAA and all relevant laws, support business and script growth by delivering clinical services such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management, and provide excellent customer service through counseling and issue resolution. The role includes supervising and training support staff, managing daily pharmacy operations, maintaining department security and organization, and completing essential tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and will-calls. The pharmacist also collaborates with physicians and uses reference materials to address prescription concerns. Recent graduates and pharmacists seeking a positive change of scenery are encouraged to apply.
